Well done and hard luck to the 1st and 2nd yr basketball teams in the semi finals of the North East Region today.
1st yrs had an excellent game and finished at 17-17 all in normal time. Extra time was 3 minutes and unfortunately lost out with a score of 24-20. They will be back next year as they are such a hardworking team.Top scorers were C.O’Neill, L.O’Reilly and H.O’Connor.
2nd yrs had a dominant game with some great scores and team performance. H.Reilly K.Cleary, H.Sharkey and F.Dorgan were best for the winners. The 2nd yrs are now through to the final for the second year in a row. The very best of luck to them!
